About us

The IHPC&S

Recognizing the global significance of advancements in heat pipe technology, the Committee on International Heat Pipe Conferences and Symposia, composed of 16 leading researchers from around the world, organizes meetings approximately every 2.5 years to explore recent developments in heat pipe technology and its diverse applications. The inaugural International Heat Pipe Conference (IHPC) took place in Germany in 1973, followed by the first International Heat Pipe Symposium (IHPS) in Japan in 1985. In 2016, these two events merged to form the International Heat Pipe Conference & Symposium (IHPC&S), which continues today as a unified platform for innovation and collaboration.

The primary goal of IHPC&S is to foster a collaborative environment for technical discussions and cooperative research across nations, enabling the global scientific community to tackle contemporary challenges, particularly those related to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. We warmly invite you to join us at the next IHPC&S to contribute to shaping the future of heat pipe technology.
